Project Description
The waterproofing of the Crystal Peaks shopping centre service deck began following an Electronic Leak Detection survey to the mastic asphalt deck to determine the extent and location of leaks. The existing wearing surface was able to be retained avoiding major disruption. Following preparation works a liquid applied resin was installed to provide a waterproof barrier. Protection of the membrane was provided by a new wearing surface, much of which was installed out of hours. line markings and pedestrian walkways were also upgraded, with drainage and threshold alterations carried out to accommodate the changes in service deck height.
