Project Specifics The mastic asphalt wearing surface at the AXA, Basingstoke car park had reached the end of its serviceable life, with numerous cracks, splits and blisters throughout. These surface defects, a common phenomenon with ageing asphalt wearing surfaces, allow water and salts to percolate through the structure. Not only does this eventually cause damage to the reinforced concrete structure, but dripping salts will inevitably stain vehicle paintwork. H2O Seal Ltd were appointed to deliver the refurbishment which included the application of the Triflex DFS external system to the asphalt surfaced top deck, plus some concrete and joint repairs. H2O Seal Ltd were onsite within two weeks, which enabled AXA to make use of the quieter summer months when the car park use was at its lowest
